

We are pleased to introduce the finest Archival / Reversible drymount foamboard available. This reversible drymount foamboard is completely acid free, and made with the highest quality 100% cotton rag surface paper.
Preserve was designed for drymounting prints that may need to be removed and preserved in their original condition. It is important to dry the print to be mounted before drymounting. Drymount at 150°F to 160°F for 15 to 20 seconds.
Preserve is not recommended for very old or damaged prints. Or if the print is of extreme value. Valuable prints should be kept in their original condition and away from bright light and dampness which may cause deterioration.
Some heavy watercolor papers may not drymount well.

Basic Instructions and use
This archival drymount foamboard is completely acid free, and reversible. It is made with a very high quality 100% cotton rag surface paper, and an ph neutral drymounting adhesive.
Preserve was designed for drymounting prints that may need to be removed and Preserved it their original condition at a later date. Preserve may not be suitable for certain types of watercolor papers and heavy papers.
Follow these basic instructions for a successful drymount every time.
1. Clean the drymount board and print of any dust and dirt to be drymounted.
2. It is important to always dry the print before drymounting. Place the print in the drymount press for 5 to 10 seconds
and remove. ( for a vacuum press draw a vacuum and wait 5 to 10 seconds then remove ). This will remove any excess moisture in the print and will ensure a secure bond.
3. Immediately after drying drymount the print at 150°F to 160°F for 15 to 20 seconds. ( do not over extend the time ).
4. Remove the print and let it cool before working with it.
To Remove The Print
Removing the print is simple and easy. Simply apply a minimal of heat to the surface of the print, 90°F to 100°F and gently lift off the print from the drymount board. Be careful not to over heat, bend or tare the print while removing it from the drymount board.
Once removed, turn the print over and with the palm of your hand gently rub off any residual bits of adhesive that maystill be clinging. This will return the print to its original condition.
Unlike Kool Tack Preserve cannot be reused.
