Wrapping and Knotting Softstrand and Super Softstrand

SoftStrand and Super-SoftStrand wires are proven to be the most ‘Finger Friendly’ wires on the market, allowing for quick and easy wire wrapping every time. Simply feed SoftStrand or Super-SoftStrand wire through the eyelet or hanger and tie as illustrated below* for a strong, secure knot. Tightly wrap the wire back eight full rotations for the strongest hold. This method of tying will prevent the wire from unraveling and will guarantee a tight, slip-free connection.

*Note: Aside from how the wire is wrapped, factors such as hardware and wall construction may also affect the maximum picture weight to be used. Therefore, to achieve the safest and strongest hold, do not exceed the recommended maximum picture weight for each size of SoftStrand and Super-SoftStrand wire
